Avene Cleanance Mask - Reviewed!

My skin has been playing up with the seasons changing so i've been looking in my stash for some masks to help fix things. I had totally forgotten about the mask until I did my post on my favourite french skincare brands. Since then i've been using it a few times and remembered how good it was.

The product comes in a 50ml tube and is very compact. I actually like the fact that it's small as you could take it travelling without making mess or taking up too much room. The mask is from the Cleanance range which is designed for oily and blemish prone skin although i've never found their products from this range to be harsh so would suit a few different skin types.

The mask itself is a cream with small exfoliating particles in it. You apply a thin layer of product over all the face; or on areas where breakouts are, and leave on the skin for 5 minutes. It's a quick mask to use and washes away easily. As you are removing it you can gently exfoliate the skin which really helps with on bumpy texture on the skin. When I use this mask straight away my skin feels a lot less oily and removes any dead skin whilst helping to calm any breakouts. Whilst my skin is bad i'll use this mask once a week and it really helps to clear things up. If you have problematic skin and want something as a quick fix which isn't drying I would definitely recommend giving this a go. I think it's a great mask to have in your stash for those times when you skin is misbehaving.

Avene Cleanance Mask retails for £15.00. (Currently 25% off at Escentual)

Have you tried this mask? What product do you reach for when your skin is breaking out?
