Haul | Yankee Candle Wax Melts

It's that time of year again where I become a bit obsessed with candles. This year I thought I would finally give the wax melts ago as they're so cheap and seem to do the same things as a big, expensive candle for a lot less, plus it means I can try a lot more scents.

Yankee Candle Wax Melt Candy Corn
I did pick up some halloween scents purely because they smelt really good. I got ghostly treats and candy corn. Both of these are a smokey yet sweet scent to them, perfect for this time of year.

The scent i've become a bit obsessed with is fireside treats, so much so I bought three of them since you can only get it in the Autumn. It's another smokey scent that smells like roasted marshmallows. I also picked up black cherry which smells like cherry drops, so good.

Of course I had to pick up some christmas scents, I went for candy cane lane, red apple wreath, cranberry ice and spiced orange. All of which smell very festive and will definitely help to get my in the spirit next month.

Each wax melt claims to last for around 8 hours and I have to admit I didn't think they would last that long but they really do. The fragrance really does fill the room and if you leave the doors open the scent can fill the whole house. I think these are a great way to try a load of different scents without having to spend that much money.

Yankee Candle Wax Melts retail for £1.49.

What are your favourite candle scents at the moment?
