It makes sense to start off with the classic nude. I find it hard to find a pale nude that doesn't wash me out however I do love MAC Hue. It's one of MAC's most popular shades and I can see why. My favourite way to wear it is applied sheerly, which works well as it is a sheer formula, when i'm wearing a bolder eye look. It looks very classic and polished that is a great everyday shade.
My favourite way to wear a nude in the Summer is a peach lip shade. A great one is the Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Charm. It's a great shade that looks lovely with a bronzed makeup look.
My first dabble with a nude lip was through matte pink shades. I've been getting a lot of wear out of the Maybelline Color Drama Velvet Lip Pencil in Minimalist. It's a lovely light pink shade which works as a bright, less skin toned nude shade. Something similar that is a little deeper is the Revlon Matte Balm in Elusive. This one has a longer wear time so you don't have to keep reapplying. It's one of those shades that looks great throughout the year.
To wear over the matte pinks i've been enjoying layering Soap & Glory Sexy MotherPucker Gloss Stick in Bashful. It's a lovely sheer, glossy pink that looks lovely on it's own or over matte shades. A new favourite of mine which I think would come under the new 90's nude trend is MAC Craving. It's a lovely deep pink shade that is a great everyday shade for the Autumn. It is definitely a great nude lip option for the colder months.

So those are some of my favourite different types of nudes to wear. To me a nude lip can cover a lot of different shades and if you're not one of a classic pale nude there are some other great options to try. What are your favourite nude lips?
Ooh Minimalist is pretty! I haven't properly checked out the Color Drama shades yet xx
