Makeup Revolution Ultra Blush and Contour Palette in Hot Spice - Reviewed!

Another Makeup Revolution palette to talk about today, this one instead is for the cheeks. I think there is not enough cheek palette's out there which is a shame because they're great to have on your dressing table, or to take traveling so you can quickly pick what shade to wear without looking through a load of different compacts.

Like the eyeshadow palette this packaging is nice and sturdy but it does pick up fingerprints easily. As I said with the other palette this doesn't bother me too much but it is worth mentioning.

The blush and contour palettes currently come in three different shades, I went for the shade Hot Spice which has 4 matte shades, 2 with shimmer and 2 shades which have a pearl, marbled finish too them which can be used as highlighters. All the shades are a good mix of pinks, peaches and even one that leans more orange. For this reason I think that it is a great palette that will transition through the different seasons.

All the shades are well pigmented and are very true to colour when applied to the cheeks. My favourites are the 4 shades in the middle as they are the perfect everyday shades. I also like the fact you can layer the far right shimmery shade over top of some of the matte shades to create a unique glow to the skin. The wear time of the blushes are really great too, I can definitely see some of the colour at the end of the long day which is not always the case with some blushes. If you're looking for a good blush palette which has a mix of shades perfect for everyday and bolder looks I would definitely recommend checking this out as it is great value for money.

Have you tried any of the blush palettes from Makeup Revolution?
