Now Daddy-O is a purple shampoo which is something i've never tried which is a bit of a shock since i've having blonde highlights for the past few years now. Here's what the shampoo claims to do:
The first thing I want to say about this shampoo is that it smells amazing! To me they smell like those sweets you had as a kid called Parma Violets! The scent also seems to last in your hair for a little while which I personally love. After getting over the amazing scent the colour of it is very purple!
I only need a small amount to cover my mid length hair which hopefully means this 250g bottle will last a good amount of time.
This leaves my hair feeling and looking super clean and healthy and after a few uses I did notice that my highlights looked brighter. I really am a purple shampoo convert, anything that means I don't have to go to the hairdressers as often is a winner for me.
I really would recommend this shampoo to any blondes, natural or coloured because I think it really does make my hair look and feel a lot nicer. I like to think because it is a natural product that it is doing good things to my hair because it's not full of rubbish!
LUSH Daddy-O starts from £4.75 for 100g and is available here.
Have you tried this? Or any other purple shamppo's?
Sounds good. I love purple shampoos because honestly, no one likes their hair turning orange :( x
ReplyDeleteI'm definitely a convert, my hair looks so much better since using it :)

Same I can't get enough of lush! The smell is so amazing! :)
DeleteDaddy-O is one of my favourites, gothy purple goodness! I haven't used it in a while, though - they say it's fine for brunettes, but I kept getting ginger, white and blonde hairs. I really like Cynthia Sylvia Stout, though I've been trying to stick to solids instead.
ReplyDeleteI love the solid shampoos! Using the one for greay hair (can't remember the name!) and love it, will be perfect for travelling :)
DeleteI've never tried a purple shampoo, I really want to!
ReplyDeleteI love Lush's solid shampoo's, especially Ultimate Shine and Trichromania :)
The color of this shampoo looks like a ink but i hope it is not have the ink properties
ReplyDeleteNo don't worry! A purple shampoo just helps remove the brassy tones in your hair, great for blondes and even grey hair!
DeleteDo you reckon this would actually change the colour of your hair dramatically?X just found your blog through a comment! Definatley following xx
ReplyDeleteI'm having a MAC lipstick giveaway on my blog & i'd love if you checked it out xxx
Not dramatically because there is no hair dye in it, it just takes out the brassy tones and stops it looking orange! Ok I will check that out :)
