The packaging is simple and white, matching the other products Avene have. The bottle itself is plastic which makes it light if you plan on travelling with it. It also comes with a pump which gives for an easy application.
As with most Avene product this contains thermal spring water which is hydrating without feeling heavy on the skin. As you can see from the picture the serum itself is fairly liquidy which helps it to feel light on the skin. I use 1-2 pumps and apply it onto cleansed skin. It blends in really smoothly and quickly sinks into the skin.
I can't get over how light and comfortable this feels on. I use it mainly in the evening but it would work really well under makeup in the morning. The serum is designed to calm and hydrate the skin and I would definitely say it does both of those. Any areas where i've had some dryness or irritation it has helped to calm it down.
I think this serum would suit most people but especially those with sensitive and combination skin as it is hydrating and calming without feeling heavy. I'm yet to find an Avene product I don't like and this is definitely another favourite in my routine.
