The packaging is lovely like all Origins products; sleek white tube with orange text and cap.
Origins say that this is an energy boosting moisturiser that gives a sheer tint to the skin. They also say that it is best for dehydrated skin which mines as definitely been recently. I would still say I have oily skin but I do find my skin is wanting more moisture then it has before.
The product comes in a tube making it easy to dispense the product. The cream comes out as a white cream but as you apply it to the skin it definitely starts developing a tint to the skin; it almost 'adapts' to my skintone. I also find I only need a pea sized amount of product to cover my whole face so I can see this 50ml tube lasting a decent amount of time.
Even though I have fairly pale skin I can get away with the amount of tint it gives. If you are very pale this won't work for you. That is the only downside for me; I love the amount of tint this gives because it helps to even out my skintone and get rid of any redness. It doesn't cover blemishes but I do find I use less foundation when wearing this.
All in all I really do love this moisturiser and it works well with my skin giving a good amount of moisture to my skin without making it oily during the day. It is perfect for giving lighter foundations that little bit more coverage and if you have pretty flawless skin it would look amazing on it's own. I can see me reaching for this product even more during the summer time as part of the perfect light base.
Origins Vita Zing SPF 15 retails for £27.00.

It's so lovely, give it a go :)
DeleteI'm always looking into including Origins into my skincare routine and always look at that but had no idea it gave a tint of colour! I am quite pale though so it probably wouldn't suit me but it looks lovely though I love how it develops xxx
ReplyDeleteIt's worth giving it a swatch to see if it works for you :)
DeleteI really like this and wear it every day rather than foundation but unfortunately I can't repurchase as they are owned by Estee Lauder who test on animals. However I have found a cheap cruelty free alternative, Glow Job by Soap & Glory, only £10 for same size tube!! xx
ReplyDeleteWill definitely check out that Soap & Glory one! Thanks :)
DeleteSeems a little out of my price range, but sounds good if it covers redness and adapts to skin colour :)
