First off lets talk about the NARS packaging, it's rubberised so it does collect finger prints but I love the sleek black casing so can get this. Also the eyeshadow casing is such a cute size how could you not like it!?
The eyeshadow does come with a mirror, which is pretty small so I don't think you could do your full face of make-up using it but it is a nice addition.
The thing that drew me to the eyeshadow is that it is the perfect taupe I have been wanting for such a long time. NARS describe the shade as 'plum with shimmer'. Personally I would say that it is a shimmery taupe with a purple undertow.
It such an individual shade which I haven't seen in the drugstore. Although it is a shimmery shade there isn't a lot of fallout when applying and it still looks very neutral on the eyes.
NARS are known to make longwearing products and this does not disappoint, the shadow not only lasts all day the colour does not fade either.
I love wearing Ondine on it's own, applying more in the crease with mascara and it makes the perfect smokey taupe eye which looks great during the day and at night time. This is definitely my new favourite shadow and I can see myself getting a lot of wear out of it.
NARS eyeshadows do seem rather expensive at £17.00 each for 2.2g of product but if you compare this to MAC shadows which are £12.00 for 1.5g you're actually getting more for your money which is something to consider.
NARS Shimmer Eyeshadows retail for £17.00.
Have you tried any NARS eyeshadows?
