The packaging is fairly simple, you get a big 400ml bottle which is very good for the price. It claims to be suitable for sensitive skin and remove makeup, cleanse, soothe without rinsing. For face, eyes and lips. There is no fragrance to the product and it hasn't irritated my skin in anyway, it feels very gentle so I would agree that it is good for sensitive skin. It doesn't make your eyes sore after use which is a big added bonus.
At first I found it took a little longer to remove my makeup than Bioderma but after a few uses i've gotten used to it and find it removes face makeup very well. It isn't amazing on heavy eye makeup, I tend to use a different eye makeup remover. If i'm not wearing a lot of eye makeup it removes it very well. It doesn't leave any sort of residue on the skin. I tend to follow up with a proper cleanser afterwards, I personally wouldn't use this as my only evening cleanse but I think you could get away with it.The bottle is easy to dispense the product, although I would say when it is full be careful to not squeeze the bottle.
So is it better than Bioderma? I think it is definitely close, it is the best drugstore equivalent I have found and the fact it is easy to get hold of and you get a lot of product for your money I would consider repurchasing it.
Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water retails for £4.99.
Have you tried this? What is your favourite micellar water?
I need to try this. I am quite impressed with my L'Oreal one but I always like to try the newest addition!

ReplyDeleteI really like the L'Oreal one, how would you say it compares with that? xx
ReplyDeleteI'd say it's even better, removes makeup easier, leaves less of a residue and is better value for money!
DeleteI love this cleanser, I'm so glad I got it and I think it is just as good as Bioderma :) x

I just picked up the L'oreal version and am hoping its good, I liked the Etat Pur and Bioderma versions but didn't realise until I'd run out that I did! So i'm hoping it replaces it for a while, if not Garnier will be next on my list!
