L'oreal Pure Clay Glow Mask - Reviewed!

I'm a face mask addict so when these new clay masks by L'oreal came out I was really excited to try them. Out of the three the glow masks seemed most up my street as it is still clay based but is also designed to give a glow to the skin which is always something i'm looking for.

The packaging feels a lot more expensive that your typical drugstore mask as it comes in a glass jar which I do like but I think I prefer squeezy tubes as they're more hygienic. The mask contains red algae extract which is known to brighten and the beaded texture illuminates the tone of the skin by gentle exfoliating the skin without being drying. The exfoliating particles don't feel harsh on the skin but still leaves the skin feeling smooth.

I use the mask once a week when the skin is feeling congested and I want to exfoliate the skin at the same time. I leave the mask on for 10 minutes and then rinse off. I doesn't set as hard as some clay masks which I prefer as it doesn't feel drying. After I rinse it away my skin feels smooth and less congested. I then follow it up with a moisture mask to hydrate the skin.

After I use this mask my skin feels so nice the next day. Now that i've been using it a while i've definitely found that when I use this mask my skin looks brighter and smoother. The clay in the mask really helps to clean the pores and the beads help to improve the texture of the skin.

If you have skin that can get congested and oily I would recommend checking this mask out. I was really surprised how this mask gave similar results to some more expensive masks i've tried. After liking this mask so much i'm definitely curious to try the other clay masks in the range.

L'oreal Pure Clay Glow Mask retails for £7.99.

Have you tried any of the new L'oreal Pure Clay masks?
