Freedom Eyebrow Pomade in Blonde - Reviewed!

This is the second Freedom product i've been putting to the test and the one i've been most excited about. This was the first brow pomade i've tried but a lot of the reviews of this did say it was very similar to the Anastasia version which is well raved about and costs a lot more.

I love the simple black and white packaging as it looks very professional. The jar is class as well and is a little weighty so it doesn't feel cheap at all. The product currently comes in 11 shades which is very impressive and there is a great mix of shades so everyone should be able to find a shade that matches. As a blonde the thing that excited me is that there is about 3 shades which should work really well.

I went for the shade blonde as it seemed to be cool toned without being too grey; the other shade Taupe is a look cooler and grey. The consistency is a thick cream with a slight waxy texture which helps the product to stay in place. I use a small angled brush to apply it. I've found a brush that is thin and fine works best to give the best finish. You only need a small amount of product and you can definitely build up the product. I was concerned that you would only be able to get a very dramatic brow but if you apply a light amount of product and do fine strokes you can get a very natural finish.

The wear time is very impressive. By the end of a long day my brows still looked the same as when I applied the product and everything was still in place. The colour was still there and the still looked defined. The shade blonde is the perfect match for me as it cool and matches by natural brow colour very well. I love how precise and how much more control you have with this compared to a pencil. I do one fine stroke and I can get such a defined edge to my brows which I love. I tend to brush out the product after i've finished as I always think that gives a more natural finish but you don't have too.

Freedom Eyebrow Pomade in Blonde retails for £5.00.

Now i've got used to using this I can't get over how good it is. The best thing might be the value for money since this jar of product is going to last so long which is far better value for money compared to repurchasing brow pencils every few months.

I would highly recommend giving this a go if you're into brows or struggle to find a shade that matches well. Have you tried this? What products do you use to fill in your brows?

  1. I wanted to buy this but it was out of stock so I picked up the NYX Brow Pomade in Blonde instead. I love it! My favourite thing I've used on my brows to date, it lasts pretty much all day and looks so natural xx
