Bourjois Air Mat Foundation - Reviewed!

After getting back from America; and buying a fair few beauty products, I said I wouldn't buy anything for a while. Well that lasted a couple of weeks then I spotted these new release from Bourjois. Add the fact that Boots had a 2 for £14 offer going on, it ended up coming home with me.

The packaging is nice and sleek. It comes in a tube unlike Bourjois' other foundations which all come with a pump. I normally prefer a pump but i've actually found it easy to dispense the amount of product I need each time. At the moment the foundation seems to come in only 5 shades; I have the lightest which is T51 Ivory Rose, hopefully they will add more to the range in the future though as there isn't really many darker shades to choose from.

The formula is matte but designed to not feel heavy or like a mask on the skin. I'm not a fan of heavy feeling foundations, I much prefer something lighter that you can barely feel on the skin. I'm happy to say that I have to agree with the fact that this is a matte foundation yet feels light on the skin. It definitely feels unique in the fact that it also sets on the skin but gives you enough time to blend it and create a flawless finish.

Ivory Rose definitely leans more on the yellow side which I like as it covers redness in the skin and evens out my skin tone nicely. It comes blemishes and most marks on my skin, however doesn't look like you're wearing a lot of makeup. You can also build it up nicely in areas where you may want a little more coverage.

The wear time is also impressive. I did get a little oily in my t-zone and there was some wear on my chin, however this was after a long warm day with me wearing the foundation for about 8 hours. I do set it with a little powder although you could get away without doing that and it will still last a decent amount of time.

Bourjois Air Mat Foundation retails for £9.99.

If you're looking for a foundation with a decent amount of coverage that is matte, light weight and lasts well on the skin I would definitely recommend giving this a try. Bourjois are yet to disappoint me with their foundations and this one is a definite favourite for me. Have you tried this foundation?
