Illamasqua Cream Pigmented in Androgen - £17.50 - This one can not only be used on the cheeks but the lips as well making it a great mutli-tasking product. It has a more dry formula than the others which can take some getting used to for the application, however once you can work with it, it's a great long wearing blush. The colour is a lovely coral toned pink, perfect for the warm weather.
Stila Convertible Color in Lillium - £16.00 - This is definitely one of my all time favourites and the blush I get the most use out of all year round. This reason is it is the perfect dusky pink which adds warmth and a healthy glow to the skin. This has an almost tacky texture to it which gives and easy application when you use a tapping motion with your fingers.
Max Factor Creamy Blush in Soft Pink - £6.99 - This one probably wins the all round option as it is affordable, very compact which makes it great for travel all whilst being a great formula and shade. The formula of this blends so easily on the skin and this shade would suit most people as it is the perfect pink colour which brightens to cheeks.
Topshop Blush in Head Over Heels - £7.00 - Finally this is the option for those who prefer a cream to powder formula; these are often the easiest to apply to the cheeks. This shade is a more coral toned option, however it still has some pink undertones which adds a nice glow to the cheeks. This one can seem a little bright in the pan but when blended out on the skin adds the perfect amount of colour whilst looking natural.
L-R Androgen, Lillium, Soft Pink, Head Over Heels |
All of these shades are very wearable and will add a nice healthy colour to the cheeks. They're perfect for Spring but will also transition nicely into Summer. I think there's a cream blush to suit ever skintone and skin type in this bunch. Do you love cream blushes? If so what is your favourite cream blush or colour to wear this time of year?
