The Winter Glow Getters

When Winter comes around my skin instantly starts to look a bit tired and dull. I add more radiance products into the mix skincare wise which helps but sometimes you need something a little extra to fake that glow.

THE SKINCARE OPTION:
Botanics All Bright Radiance Balm
Botanics All Bright Radiance Balm - £5.99. (Currently only £2.99!)
This is a recent purchase of mine and a great option if you want to add another layer of moisture whilst giving a nice glow. This is a balm which you apply after your skincare and before makeup giving a brighter, fresher look to the skin. This instantly makes the skin look brighter without looking glittery on. It's very subtle so would work well on most skintones.
THE ILLUMINATOR:
Revlon Skinlights Face Illuminator in Bare Light
Revlon Skinlights Face Illuminator in Bare Light - £11.99.
This is a favourite option of mine in the Summer but is just as great to use in the colder months. This is a golden toned illuminator so adds a lovely warmth to the skin as well as giving a glow. This can be used as a primer under makeup, mixed in with your base or over top of makeup on the high points of the face. A great multipurpose product which will see you through all the seasons. This also comes in 3 other shades, however I think Bare Light is the best all round option.
THE HIGHLIGHTER:
No7 Instant Radiance Highlighter
No7 Instant Radiance Highlighter - £9.95.
Unlike the other cream option this is a stick formula which gives a very easy application when used in targeted areas where you need a little boost. It's a classic champagne colour so will look great on most skintones and isn't glittery, rather it gives a nice sheen to the skin. It can be applied lightly or heavily depending on how you want it to look.

Depending on how my skin is looking or feeling i've been reaching for one of these options when I just want to look a little bit of a glow without looking like a disco ball. What are your favourite ways of faking that healthy glow in the Winter?

  1. I am all about glowy skin right now I usually go for illuminating foundations and then benefit high beam but I'm trying to experiment with other techniques!
