Revlon Colorburst Matte Balms - Reviewed!

The Revlon matte balms have been around for a little while now and i've slowly been collecting a few of the shades. When they first came out I wasn't overly blown away but now I have grown to really love them so I thought they deserved their own post.

The packaging is matte and colour coded depending on the shade which is something I always think is a good idea when you have multiple shades. The formula of these are so unique, they're creamy yet when you apply onto the lips it's a completely matte finish which doesn't feel drying.

I've been really into matte lips but sometimes the texture doesn't feel nice on the lips which is wear these are different. They feel almost moisturising on the lips. Something I have noticed the lighter shade can wear a little patchy on the lips after a few ours where however the darker, bolder shades looks amazing and wear so long even when eating and drinking.
Revlon Colorburst Matte Balms Swatches
L-R - Showy - A bright pink with a purple tone. Very bright on the lips yet wearable.
Striking - The perfect matte orange toned red.
Unapologetic - A bright pink shade, again very bold on the lips.
Elusive - A nude pink that has a slight brightness to it yet is perfect for everyday wear.

All in all i'm definitely a convert when it comes to matte lips and these balm stains have become my favourite as they feel amazing on the lips and have such a great wear time without going patchy.

Revlon Colorburst Matte Balms retail for £7.99.

Have you tried the Revlon Matte Balms?
