Bourjois 123 Perfect CC Cream - Reviewed!

When I was applying this the other day I realised that it's actually the first CC Cream i've tried, i'm still not full sure what the difference is between a BB and a CC cream, does anyone? Anyways as someone who loves Bourjois base product there's was no doubt I was going to have to give this new release a go, and after hearing great reviews I trip to Boots soon followed.

So the idea behind this is that it use 3 pigments to colour correct your skin. Apricot for anti fatigue, Green for anti redness and White for anti dark spots. All these combine to leave a fresh faced, luminous complexion. It also has an SPF 15.

The packaging is nice and simple, I have found it easy to dispense the product without getting too much. I tend to roughly apply with my fingertips the buff out with a brush. I sometimes use a stippling motion to apply more product to areas where I need a little more coverage.

Once applied it feels light on the skin, it is the perfect mix between matte and glowly, I tend to still powder since I have oily skin but you could definitely get away without. The coverage  can be light or built up to a more medium coverage. The wear time is surprisingly great, this lasted for about 8 hours or so without looking too shiny. It doesn't cling to any dry patches and when it does start to wear off it does so evenly so doesn't look overly obvious.

There are four shades available, I have the lightest shade Ivory (which looks a lot more orange than it really is in the swatch above!) which is a decent light shade which I think would work for a good range of fair skinned people. All in all this is yet another win for me, it's been one of my go to base products recently, it's perfect for everyday wear where you want some coverage but don't want to feel caked in make-up.

Bourjois 123 Perfect CC Cream retails for £9.99.

Have you tried this CC Cream? What is your favourite day time base product?

  1. I nearly picked this up but I'm so used to wearing high coverage foundation, I chickened out and put it back! Sounds good for good skin days :-) xx
