The packaging is simple and matches other Clarins products. The product itself contains Tamarind and White Nettle. The tamarind claims to eliminates impurities and dead cells and the white nettle claims to refine pores and smooth skin texture. It also claims to improve the effectiveness of any skincare products applied afterwards.
The product is a thick liquid which you apply onto a cotton pad a wipe all over the face. Afterwards you can apply the rest of your skincare products such as serum, oil and moisturiser on top. You can you these products everyday however I prefer to use it ever other night or twice a week if i'm using another AHA product as well.
You won't see such drastic results as when you use a product like the Alpha H Liquid Gold because it is a lot milder. However the morning after using this my skin does feel smoother and on a whole my skin feels less congested. I also think the appearance of my skin has improved as well. I would recommend this if something like Liquid Gold is too harsh for your skin or if your skin can get congested easily. As with any AHA based product you do need to use a SPF is the morning after using this.
All in all I would definitely recommend this product, i've really enjoyed this being a part of my evening skincare routine. I've also been using this product for about two months and i've used less than a quarter so I can see this lasting a good amount of time.
Clarins Gentle Exfoliator Brightening Toner retails for £20.00.
Have you tried this product? What is your favourite exfoliating toner?
I've been using this recently too, it's a nice addition to my evening skincare routine x

I love this toner. It really transformed my skin.
ReplyDeleteI've been really tempted by this! I have oily skin with enlarged pores and my skin just gets so congested, it's a nightmare.
ReplyDeleteWhen my Glow Tonic runs out I'd be tempted to try this to see how the two compare xx
