I really do love the packaging of this foundation, the bottle is small so it fits in my make-up bag so well, you still get 30ml of product like most foundations. Now this doesn't have a pump but it does have a precise dispenser which makes getting a small amount of product out very easy. I've actually come to love this type of top.
The formula of this foundation is thin, almost water like, I find I like these types of foundations best because they tend to not be heavy on the skin. I've found that heavy foundations are the ones that tend to break me out. This foundation claims to help with anti ageing which I personally don't need but it also helps with uneven skin tone which with having acne prone skin I can have a lot of redness in my skin and this really does help to even it out. It says that this foundation is suited for all skin types which I tend to agree with. My skin tends to be more on the oily side especially in Summer and this foundation lasts well on me, I also have a few dry patches and I don't find that it clings to them either.
The shade I have is Linen which seems to be one of the lightest shades they do, they do have a lighter shade which is more pink toned. I find this shade really does suit my skin tone. It is more on the yellow side but I find that is great for covering any redness. The wear time is really good with this foundation, it doesn't look cakey or go patchy throughout the day and I also find I don't get oily with it on especially on my chin which is my worst area. It also feels light on the skin but gives a medium to full coverage.
All in all I think this is a great foundation and has been working with my skin really well even during Summer. If you're looking for a good high end foundation I would definitely recommend this one. It also has SPF 15 in it which I love.
Clinique Even Better Makeup retails for £23.00 for 30ml.
Have you tried any Clinique Foundations?
I've actually never tried any make-up by Clinique, this sounds good though and not too expensive like chanel etc can be x

Thats a shame, so do I! I always pick up at least one MAC product when i'm there :)
DeleteThat outlet sounds fab! There's nothing like that near me. This sounds like a great foundation, hardly surprising that Clinique has brought yet another good product out though! xxx
ReplyDeleteThats a shame, I really do like Clinique as a brand :)
DeleteI use a clinique powder foundation and think it's great..maybe not the best colour for my skin tone but still a lovely product :)

I've heard a few people say their colour range isn't great which is a shame since they do some lovely products :)
DeleteI started using the Even Better moisturizers and skin correcting serum a while back and i was skeptical whether to get this foundation or not. I think I will like it because like you said, it's lightweight! So yup, off to get it! :) xx
ReplyDeleteHaha glad to have helped, I only like lightweight foundations these days :)

ReplyDeleteClinique Super Balanced Makeup was the first foundation I tried (I was introduced by my Mum) and I was hooked on it for a good few years. I later tried Even Better and after that, experimented with several other foundations from different brands, and I can honestly say that Clinique Even Better has turned out to be my Holy Grail foundation. I absolutely love it, I haven't got any at the moment as I've gone a bit experiment-mad, but I will definitely be repurchasing very soon now that I know nothing else is a patch on it!
