I really don't have a preference when it comes to body lotions as long as it is moisturising and doesn't take an age to dry i'm happy. Burts Bees say 'This natural, lightweight lotion is formulated with Royal Jelly and a hint of mica to leave skin beautifully soft and tone enhanced with a touch of shimmer.' I normally hate anything to have shimmer in it but I have to make an exception for this product.
As you can see it is a thin cream that sinks into to the skin nicely, it isn't the fastest drying but nothing too long. The smell is pleasant, I can't really describe it nothing overpowering though.
The shimmer is very subtle but gives a really nice finish without making you look like a disco ball! I love using it on my legs especially if i'm wearing shorts or a dress becuase it really does make my skin look healthy. It looks even better when you have a bit of a tan or just over gradual tanner. As I said it really isn't too shimmery and I think I will definitely be taking some with me on holiday.
It isn't the cheapest of lotions but I personally just use it on my legs every now and then so it isn't too bad and it is still moisturising to the skin.
Burts Bees Radiance Body Lotion retails for £9.99 and is available here.
Have you tried this? What products do you love to use when getting your legs out in Summer?
I've been reaching for The Body Shop Coconut Beautifying Oil for my legs, it smells amazing and gives a really nice sheen.
ReplyDeleteI've only ever tried the Burt's Bees lip balms, but I love their packaging and their hand creams have been lovely when I've tested them in store!
