Rediscovered Love - ELF Lipsticks!

Hello again, today I thought I would do a post on the ELF lipsticks because I recently rediscovered them! (hence the title!). Now if you've been reading my blog for a while you may know I love the Mineral Lipsticks (post here) which cost £3.50 but I also love the £1.50 lipsticks.
Now since they are only £1.50 the packaging isn't amazing. I've seen people complain about how the lipstick can get a bit 'smushed' when twisting it up. I personally haven't had this problem but I can see how that may happen.
All the shades seem to be matte which is how I prefer my lipsticks, they also feel lovely on the lips and not drying at all. They seem to last fairly well on the lips too, just as long as some more expensive lispticks I have tried.

L-R 'Classy' 'Gypsy' 'Flirtacious'
The first shade I got was 'Classy' which is a lovely purple toned pink, it is a great everday shade and I think it would suit a lot of skintones. 'Gypsy' is a deep pink/plum colour which I love in Winter or on a night out. The swatch above doesn't show how deep it is. Finally 'Flirtacious' is a lovely bright coral shade which I think is perfect for Summer.

I've always been a big fan of ELF and these lipsticks are definitely one of their stand out products. The only problem is that since they are popular they do go out of stock a lot! You can enter your email address and they email you when they're back in stock which is good.

As I said these lipsticks are a bargain price at £1.50 and they have a good colour range too! They are available here.

Have you tried these lipsticks? What is your favourite ELF product?

  1. I love E.l.f. lipsticks, I have Gypsy and it's one of my favourite shades xo

  2. I love E.l.f's products but I've never tried their lipsticks before. Gypsy looks like a really lovely fun colour. New follower here x
